About

Jack Miller is Senior Director of Communications at Chamber of Progress. Jack started his career in the environmental movement and has worked in more than a dozen states for activist groups, congressional candidates, and presidential campaigns. He spent three years in Congress working for Congressman Ami Bera (D-CA) and Congresswoman Eleanor Holmes Norton (D-DC) and was later a speechwriter for the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID).

Most recently, Jack served as Director of Communications at the U.S. Office of Personnel Management, advising agency leadership on strategy, crisis communications, and storytelling for OPM’s audience of 12.2 million federal employees and family members. At the time of his promotion, Jack was one of the youngest members of the Senior Executive Service (SES) in the federal government.

Jack has a master’s degree in energy and environmental security from Johns Hopkins University and a bachelor’s degree from Tufts University. Jack is a proud New Jerseyan, and in his free time, he loves hiking in National Parks and reading a ton of fantasy.
