Janay leads the Chamber of Progress’s expanding work on fintech, cryptocurrency, and decentralized “web3” policy as Director of Financial Policy.

Before joining Chamber of Progress, Eyo served as Deputy Director of Policy and Strategic Planning for Representative Joyce Beatty, where she handled Rep. Beatty’s chairmanship of the House Financial Services Subcommittee on Diversity and Inclusion. Eyo is a Certified Public Accountant candidate, and prior to her work with Rep. Beatty, she served as Financial Manager for Howard University and as a Tax Preparer under the IRS’s Volunteer Income Tax Assistance Program.

Eyo graduated from Virginia Tech.
