Kerry Maeve Sheehan is Legal Advocacy Counsel at Chamber of Porogress. Kerry has spent more than a decade working to advance human-centered technology law and policy that promotes free expression, privacy, equity, and user rights. 

Most recently, Kerry served as Policy Director at iFixit. Prior to that, she worked on Meta’s Product Policy Team. Kerry also brings experience from the Electronic Frontier Foundation, Public Knowledge, and the Cyberlaw Clinic at Harvard Law School. She earned her J.D. from Boston University and her B.A. from the State University of New York at Buffalo. 

Originally from Massachusetts, Kerry resides in California where she enjoys art, reading, learning languages, and exploring California’s spectacular landscapes with her American Staffordshire Terrier, Oona.
