“This bill wraps up Colorado’s small tech startups in enough red tape that they’ll be discouraged from trying new approaches to AI,” said Chamber of Progress State and Local Director Kouri Marshall. “Those local businesses that continue pursuing AI innovation in Colorado will face requirements forcing the disclosure of essential business intelligence to competitors and customers. Altogether, SB 205 threatens to backfire on Colorado consumers and torpedo the state’s tech economy.”

Speakers joining for Tuesday’s press conference include:

  • Kouri Marshall, State and Local Public Policy Director, Chamber of Progress
  • Dr. Kelly Kinnebrew, Co-Founder, Minerva
  • Logan Cerkovnik, Founder,
  • Kyle Shannon, Founder, Storyvine
