Brianna January, MPP, is Northeast State & Local Government Relations Director at Chamber of Progress. Most recently, Brianna served as Associate Policy Director at the Maryland Association of Counties, where she represented Maryland’s 23 counties and Baltimore City before the Maryland State General Assembly. In that role, she covered a policy portfolio of workforce and employee relations, business affairs, procurement, capital projects, and school construction and education.
Prior to that, she held roles at Media Matters and as a senior researcher and as a legislative staffer for then-Delegate and Maryland subcommittee chair Kirill Reznik (D). Brianna is on the board of FreeState Justice, Maryland’s largest LGBTQ legal and advocacy organization. She earned her Master’s in Public Policy from the University of Maryland.
Brianna grew up in Baltimore and now lives in Hyattsville, just outside D.C. She is a big Baltimore Orioles fan, loves horror movies, and enjoys to travel and spend time with her husband, three cats, and dog.
