Ruth Whittaker is a Director of Civic Innovation Policy at Chamber of Progress, where she leads the organization’s policy work on workforce, delivery, autonomous vehicles, the sharing economy, telemedicine, and climate tech issues.
Ruth brings a deep background in competition policy and experience in progressive politics at the local, state, and federal levels. Prior to joining Chamber of Progress, she spent four years as a paralegal in the Department of Justice Antitrust Division working on criminal investigations. Before her time at DOJ, she worked for the Illinois State Senate and on grassroots advocacy campaigns across the country with Winning Connections.
Ruth is a proud graduate of Georgetown University and has lived in Washington, D.C. for nearly ten years, but she remains a loyal fan of Chicago sports and pizza.
